Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez has been an Cuban and American television arbitrator from Caso Cerrado. Born in Havana Cuba Ana moved to Miami when she was 2 years old, accompanied by her family. Ana Maria Polo from Habana is the producer and host of Telemundo's "Caso Cerrado" which is among the most well-loved Spanish-language programming on the network. It was nominated as one of the Daytime Entertainment Emmy for Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards in the year 2015. In 2015 it ranked at the top for all the key demos. Polo was born in Havana in 1959. After graduating the Florida International University's Political science program, she moved to Havana and lived there for 20 years. After that, she received the PhD in law from the University of Miami, and practiced for twenty years in Miami. A breast cancer survivor, Polo frequently speaks and raises money for the cause. She has been a strong proponent of LGBT rights for the bulk of her professional career. She holds a law degree from The University of Miami School of Law as well as an Florida Bar Member.
